Who we are

genqasx.com is run by genqasx Limited, based in Vancouver, Canada. For anything about your information, email info@genqasx.com.

This page covers the website. How the genqasx product handles the data you point it at is a separate matter, and depends on the tier you use.

What we collect

What you type into our forms. The contact, get-started and book-a-demo forms ask for your name, your email, and what you are trying to do. The demo form also asks for a company and a job title. Your email is the only field any of them require. We get exactly what you type, and nothing else.

No analytics, at the moment. We are not counting page views and there is no analytics script on this site. If that changes we will name the service here before it starts, and it will be one that sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Nothing else. The site sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and doesn’t follow you to other websites. Its typeface is served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page here does not tell anyone else that you did.

Why we use it

  • To answer the enquiry you sent, or book the conversation you asked for.
  • To send setup notes when you start using it, and check in if you get stuck.
  • To follow up about that request. If you don’t want to hear from us again, say so and we’ll stop.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone to market to you.

Who else handles it

A few services help run the site. They process information on our behalf, and some may store it outside Canada:

  • Our web host runs the small script that takes what you submit and mails it to us. It does not go to a form service, and nothing is stored on the website.
  • Our email provider hosts the inbox it arrives in.
  • Our web host serves the pages, and keeps the ordinary server logs that any web host keeps.

If a form can’t send, it opens your own email app instead. In that case your message goes from your email account, not through the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond and follow up. Ask, and we’ll delete them.

Your rights

Under Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our using it. Email info@genqasx.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with how we handle it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
